Course Takeaways

The first day when I walked into this class, I did not know what to expect. I honestly had no idea what we were going to be learning and the projects that we would be doing. I am so glad that I took this course because I was taught so many useful things that I can take with my to my career. I was able to send my website to my interviewer for a summer internship, and she was impressed that we were even making a website in this class. She was really happy with everything that we are learning and found it to be very useful. I ended up getting the internship and I can’t wait to take all of the skills that I learned in this course to y new job. I never knew how to use Audacity, and I think that is a major thing that I will be able to takeaway form this course. Now, I can improve on the basic skills I learned for Audacity in this class, and I can only go up from here. Another huge takeaway from this course for me was making a website on WordPress. I have never done that before this class, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, and it turned out pretty great. Now I know that I can do this for the future and I can apply it to future internships and job positions. I am so happy that I learned how to make a podcast, I have also never done that and I’m happy that I now have that as a skill. Most of the projects that we did in this class I had no idea how to do before this, so I am really glad that I can expand my skills and knowledge. I can actually apply these skills to my future career. I hope all of my work is helpful for students at Rutgers University, and I hope my audience expands outside of Rutgers to other students at other schools aged 18-24.
